Community Home Guide connects Houston homeowners with local builders, remodelers, designers, and service pros — and gives those same businesses an affordable way to be found online.

History

Since 2019

Community Home Guide launched in 2019 as a companion directory to The Metropolitan Builder, Houston's monthly trade magazine for the residential home-building industry. The same idea drives both: put good, reputable, local companies in front of the homeowners and building professionals actually looking for them.

Today the directory lists more than 150 Houston-area businesses across 160+ categories — builders and remodelers first, alongside the designers, trades, and professional services (attorneys, title companies, insurance, financial services) that support a home-building project from start to finish. Many listed companies are also members of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA).

2019

Community Home Guide launches as a sister project to The Metropolitan Builder magazine.

Businesses list on three plans starting at $39/month; homeowners search and browse for free.
